Youth & Intergenerational Programs
BCAN proudly supports youth and young adults through year-round internship and enrichment opportunities. Each year, we host participants from the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) and Work, Learn & Grow (WLG), providing hands-on experience rooted in community service and leadership development.
Beyond internships, BCAN offers tutoring support, college readiness programming, and opportunities to earn community service hours. We also provide mentorship to college freshmen, helping students successfully navigate their transition into higher education.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to intergenerational connection. Our programs are intentionally designed to bring youth, adults, and seniors together—strengthening community bonds through shared learning, service, and support. To further empower participants, BCAN hosts monthly professional development workshops, college readiness support groups, and ongoing tutoring services.
